Encuentro Sur Mujer holds 16th edition in Valdivia

The 16th edition of the Encuentro Sur Mujer is taking place from August 28 to 30, 2026, under the theme ‘Pausa y propósito en el caos’ (Pause and purpose in the chaos). The event features a diverse program including keynote speeches, mentorships, business networking, and a fair with 120 exhibitors, primarily from the Los Ríos region and southern Chile.

Key activities are concentrated at the Centro de Eventos del Parque Saval in Valdivia, following preliminary activities in Lago Ranco and Isla San Francisco. The program includes international guests such as entrepreneur and author Patricia Araque, sustainable cuisine specialist Laura Di Cola, and psychologist and coach María Paz Blanco. Creative director Bernardita Birkner noted that Di Cola’s focus on zero waste and circular cooking is expected to provide significant learning opportunities for local businesses and the gastronomic sector.
