Encyonline and LVBHB hold organizational meetings

Encyonline held an editorial meeting on October 6, 2026, to discuss organizational changes and quality standards. Robert will serve as chairperson until the end of 2026, succeeding Margreet. The team discussed improving text quality, the use of verifiable image sources, and a plan to rotate roles among staff to provide diverse perspectives and training experience. Additionally, the editorial team aims to limit web links in citations in favor of ISBNs to ensure long-term source stability.

The LVBHB association has announced an online sounding board meeting scheduled for October 22 to discuss the theme ‘The New Generation’. The initiative seeks to engage younger members and understand their communication styles and interests to ensure the association’s longevity. The outcomes of this discussion will inform the association’s 2027 annual theme and future working group plans.
