Endeavor Catalyst Fund V reaches $320 million with record Greek investment
Endeavor has closed its Catalyst Fund V at $320 million, exceeding its initial $300 million target. Greece has emerged as the largest investor participant in the fund, with 17 Greek investors—including the country’s four systemic banks (Alpha Bank, Eurobank, National Bank of Greece, and Piraeus Bank) and various business families—committing $70 million. This contribution represents approximately 22% of the total fund capital.
The fund aims to capitalize on global technology trends, specifically focusing on artificial intelligence and defense technology. Endeavor is targeting companies with Greek founders, such as Reflection AI, Runway, Arena, Tunic Pay, and Resolve AI, some of which hold combined valuations exceeding $34 billion.
Greek investment in Endeavor funds has seen significant growth, rising from $5 million in 2019 (Fund III) to $24 million in 2022 (Fund IV), and now reaching $70 million for Fund V.
