Endeavour Silver suspends Terronera mine operations due to blockade

Endeavour Silver Corp. has temporarily suspended operations at its Terronera mine in Jalisco, Mexico, due to an illegal blockade by members of the local Ejido community. The suspension began on August 12.

The community members have raised concerns regarding road maintenance, medical services, communications, water supply access, and the need for increased financial assistance. The company described the blockade as peaceful, orderly, and respectful.

A reduced workforce remains on-site to manage safety, security, and maintenance protocols. Endeavour Silver is currently engaged in active discussions with community leaders to resolve the dispute and resume full operations. The company stated it is prepared to pursue legal remedies if the disruption continues.
