Endeavour Silver's Terronera mine remains suspended due to community blockade

Endeavour Silver’s Terronera silver-gold mine project in Jalisco, Mexico, remains suspended due to an ongoing community blockade. The project, located in the municipality of Bolaños, is considered one of the most significant silver-gold assets in the company’s Mexican pipeline and was in the final stages of construction.

The blockade, initiated by members of the local Ejido community, has halted operations for several weeks. Endeavour Silver reported that negotiations with community representatives are currently ongoing and described as cordial and respectful. The company is seeking a constructive resolution to allow for an orderly resumption of full operations.

The suspension represents a significant challenge to the project’s social license and has resulted in the immobilization of invested capital and constructed infrastructure. As of August 20, 2026, there has been no material change to the operational status of the mine.
