Endine Gaiano road accident leaves four injured

A head-on collision occurred on the Statale 42 near Endine Gaiano on the morning of September 25. The accident involved two cars, one of which was attempting a left turn into a parking area when it struck an oncoming vehicle.

The impact was severe enough to detach the engine block of one vehicle, sending debris toward a nearby bus stop. Two students waiting for their school bus were struck by the flying fragments and sustained leg injuries. Four people in total were injured: the two students, one driver who was transported to Seriate hospital with minor injuries, and another driver who was taken to Esine hospital.

Carabinieri from the Clusone Company are investigating the incident, and ANAS personnel worked to clear oil and debris from the roadway to restore traffic flow.
