Enefit launches new mobile app for electric vehicle charging in Baltics
Enefit is launching a new mobile application, ‘Enefit Charge’, to improve the electric vehicle charging experience across the Baltic states. The update is expected to affect more than 40,000 drivers, including nearly 20,000 in Lithuania.
Key features of the updated application include new payment options such as ‘Apple Pay’ and ‘Google Pay’, faster activation of charging sessions, and simplified refunds if a charging session fails to start. Additionally, the app will introduce an ‘Autocharge’ function, which allows compatible electric vehicles to begin charging automatically upon plugging in the cable.
Paulius Bartaševičius, head of public charging network business management at Enefit, stated that the company is investing in digital solutions to ensure a seamless user experience, from locating a station to completing a charge. He noted that as electric vehicles become more integrated into the energy ecosystem, modern digital platforms are essential for managing renewable energy resources and grid flexibility.
