Enelar defines exclusions for energy saving program

Enelar has clarified the specific categories of users excluded from its energy saving program. According to commercial director Aníbal Fuentes Galvis, the program excludes essential institutions such as hospitals, health centers, schools, fire departments, security institutions, prisons, and other public entities to ensure continuity of electricity supply.

Other exclusions include care homes for the elderly and households where individuals require permanent electrical equipment for medical reasons to protect their health or life. These individuals may request exclusion by presenting medical documentation at any Enelar office. Additionally, properties with suspended electricity services at the start of the program remain excluded until service is restored.
