ENEOS Power to showcase battery storage services at Smart Grid Expo

ENEOS Power has announced its participation in the Smart Grid Expo, part of the Smart Energy Week event held at Makuhari Messe from September 9 to 11, 2026. The company will showcase its battery storage operation services, which aim to stabilize the supply-demand balance of electricity and maximize customer revenue by controlling the charging and discharging of batteries. This service is particularly relevant for managing the fluctuations in renewable energy production caused by weather conditions.

At the exhibition, ENEOS Power will provide consultations for companies considering the ownership or construction of grid-scale batteries. The company will also introduce its residential battery control service, which was launched in February 2026 in combination with ENEOS Denki. Additionally, a seminar led by Hiromasa Yokozeki, General Manager of the VPP Business Division, will be held on September 10 to discuss the current state of grid-scale batteries and the company’s strategic direction.

Separately, a seminar titled ‘Market Environment and Future Outlook of VPP and Grid-scale Battery Business’ is scheduled for September 30, 2026, in Tokyo. Led by Yoshio Kyoraishi, a manager in ENEOS Power’s VPP Business Planning Group, the session will address the complexities of entering the supply-demand adjustment market and the importance of understanding evolving market systems to predict future environments.
