Energy initiatives and professional seminars launched in Catalonia

The Baix Empordà Energy Fair is entering its second edition in Sant Feliu de Guíxols. The event includes institutional meetings to build consensus on renewable energy, an exhibition of energy sector companies, and various educational activities. Scheduled talks will cover topics such as shared electric mobility, residential energy rehabilitation, energy consumption control, and the deployment of renewable energy. Additionally, the program features the documentary ‘Home’ and educational games for children.

In a separate initiative aimed at improving sector communication, a seminar series titled ‘How to talk about energy without technicalities’ is being organized for journalists and communication professionals. Held in collaboration with the Efficient Energy Cluster of Catalonia (CEEC) and Endesa, the sessions will take place in various locations, including Girona, Barcelona, Tarragona, Lleida, and Terres de l'Ebre. The program aims to provide context on the Catalan electricity sector, its economic and social impacts, and the challenges of the distribution network. Participants may also opt for educational visits to key energy facilities, such as the Endesa Distribution Control Center or various hydroelectric and wind power plants.
