Energy market prices and volumes reported by EPİAŞ

Data from Energy Exchange Istanbul (EPİAŞ) reveals recent fluctuations in the spot electricity and natural gas markets. In the electricity market, spot prices reached a high of 4,500 TL/MWh, while the lowest price recorded during the day dropped to 0 TL/MWh. The arithmetic average price was calculated at 3,436.91 TL/MWh, with a weighted average of 3,538.33 TL/MWh. Trading volume in the electricity market saw significant movement, with one report noting a 74.1% increase to approximately 1.93 billion TL, while another indicated a 34.47% decrease to approximately 1.11 billion TL.

In the natural gas market, the reference price for 1,000 cubic meters was set at 19,048 TL. The total amount of natural gas supplied to the market was approximately 125.49 million cubic meters. The trading volume for natural gas was reported at 2.23 million TL, down from a previous 3.03 million TL. Balancing gas purchase and sale prices were established at 20,040.40 TL and 18,095.60 TL, respectively.
