Energy providers in Italy launch fixed-rate electricity and gas offers

Energy providers in Italy are offering fixed-rate contracts to protect consumers from market fluctuations. NeN has introduced the ‘Luce Dieci’ offer, which fixes the price of 100% renewable electricity at 0.114 €/kWh for a period of 10 years. This digital-only service includes an annual fixed fee of 72 euros and allows customers to choose between monthly billing based on actual consumption or a fixed monthly installment.

Separately, ENGIE is promoting its ‘PuntoFisso’ promotion, which allows customers to lock in electricity and gas prices for 12 months. The electricity rate is set at 0.1286 €/kWh with a 72 euro annual fixed fee, while gas is offered at 0.5545 €/Smc with an 84 euro annual fee. Both providers note that while the energy component is fixed, other costs such as network fees, dispatching, and system charges regulated by ARERA will continue to vary.
