In Valladolid, Spain, the 6th Renewable Gas Salon and the 19th International Bioenergy Congress brought together 270 companies to discuss the development of biogas and biomethane. The event emphasized the role of biomethane in replacing fossil fuels and reducing energy dependency by utilizing local organic resources like manure. Industry leaders noted the significant potential for renewable gas projects in the Castilla y León region.
