Energy sector event ROG. e to feature ANP and Foresea in Rio de Janeiro

The energy sector event ROG. e will take place in Rio de Janeiro from September 21 to 24, featuring participation from key industry players and regulators.

The National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP) will host a stand with daily lectures on regulated sector topics. ANP Director-General Artur Watt and Director Symone Araújo are scheduled to participate in panels discussing energy security, the role of independent players, and the future of natural gas in Brazil. Additionally, the agency will launch the second edition of the NAVE-ANP entrepreneurship program and hold presentations for the PRH-ANP human resources training program.

Foresea, a leader in Brazilian offshore drilling, will present studies on energy efficiency and fuel reduction at the event. The company aims to demonstrate how real-time data and predictive modeling can significantly lower CO2 emissions and fuel consumption. Foresea reported a preliminary 38% reduction in diesel consumption during navigation through operational configuration reviews and will also showcase its Sustainability and Operational Excellence Program (PESO).
