Energy sector firms report diverse H1 2026 financial results

Chuangxin Industries Holdings Limited reported significant growth for the first half of 2026. The company recorded revenue of approximately RMB 11.53 billion, a 32.4% year-on-year increase, while net profit attributable to owners rose by 166.1% to approximately RMB 2.30 billion. This performance was attributed to higher electrolytic aluminium selling prices, reduced production costs through green energy usage, and an optimized financing structure.

In Nigeria, six energy companies listed on the NGX showed varying revenue trends for the first half of 2026. Aradel Holdings Plc saw a 577% surge in turnover to ₦2.49 trillion, largely driven by the consolidation of ND Western Limited and a majority stake in Renaissance Africa Energy Company. Oando Plc reported a 19.9% revenue increase to ₦2.06 trillion. Downstream companies, including Conoil, TotalEnergies Marketing Nigeria, and Eterna, saw growth influenced by shifts in product volumes and pricing dynamics.
