Energy sector developments are gaining momentum in Paraguay and Argentina through specialized forums and industrial exhibitions.

In Paraguay, the Ministry of Industry and Commerce is organizing 'Energías Paraguay 2026,' a business forum and expo scheduled for October 1 in Asunción. The event aims to address the technological and commercial transformation of the energy sector, focusing on topics such as electric mobility, renewable energies, biofuels, and the digitalization of service stations. The forum seeks to strengthen cooperation between public and private entities to navigate the shift in energy sources.

In Argentina, the Empresa Provincial de Energía de Córdoba (EPEC) participated in the Expo Parques Industriales Córdoba 2026. EPEC showcased initiatives regarding electric mobility and smart metering technology. During the event, EPEC leadership highlighted the province's progress in distributed renewable energy generation, noting that regulatory frameworks in Córdoba allow industries to adopt self-generation models and link generated energy with user consumption.
