Energy security faces risks from solar eclipse and maritime tensions

Experts suggest that fuel prices for gasoline and diesel could reach between 2.50 and 3 euros per liter due to these uncertainties.

Even without physical blockades, increased insurance premiums and perceived risks to navigation through key chokepoints like the Red Sea and the Mediterranean can fundamentally alter global trade and energy flows.
