Regarding utility services, CFE has established procedures for electricity reconnection following service cuts due to non-payment. Users are granted a 30-day grace period after a bill's due date before disconnection begins. To restore service, customers must pay the full outstanding balance plus a reconnection fee. For 2026, reconnection fees for single-wire monthly services are set at 58 pesos, while bimonthly single-wire services cost 80 pesos, both including VAT.
