Energy storage providers launch new power solutions in Nigeria and Japan
Energy storage companies in Nigeria and Japan are expanding their residential and commercial power solutions.
In Nigeria, itel Energy has launched the PowerTank 1000 all-in-one backup power unit and the IP54 11kW Hybrid Inverter. These products aim to address unreliable electricity by providing residential and industrial energy storage. The company supports its hardware with a network of over 150 service centers across more than 60 cities and a 48-hour after-sales service commitment.
In Japan, Elie Power Co., Ltd. announced the addition of a 10.7kWh battery unit to its POWER iE Connect series, a Vehicle-to-Home (V2H) compatible residential storage system. Scheduled for release in early January 2027, the new unit utilizes the company's domestically manufactured HY Battery L series. This new model offers a 10% increase in capacity compared to previous versions and is designed to support self-consumption of solar power amidst rising electricity costs.
