Energy tech firms showcase smart meter solutions at metering days

At the metering days event in Fulda, energy technology companies KISTERS and EMH metering GmbH showcased new solutions designed to support the expanding smart meter rollout in Germany.

KISTERS introduced its next generation of web-based software for metering point operation. The new BelVis+ product family includes BelVis+MDM for meter data management and BelVis+ZFA for remote meter reading. These applications are designed to handle large volumes of data and facilitate dynamic control of consumption devices in accordance with §14a EnWG requirements.

EMH metering GmbH presented the CASA 2.0, a new generation of Smart Meter Gateway. The platform features a multi-core processor architecture to handle increasing data demands and a more compact, simplified design that allows for nearly fully automated manufacturing. The hardware is designed to be future-proof, allowing for the quick integration of new applications and business models.
