Enerjisa Enerji theater project reaches 3,000 children in Hatay

Enerjisa Enerji’s ‘Enerjimi Koruyorum’ (I Am Protecting My Energy) project recently completed a summer tour in Hatay, reaching more than 3,000 children across five districts: İskenderun, Arsuz, Yayladağ, Samandağ, and Defne.

Supported by the Hatay Metropolitan Municipality’s theater truck, the tour took place between August 24 and 28. The project, which has reached nearly 400,000 children over 16 years, uses theater to teach energy efficiency, renewable energy, and sustainable living habits. The updated script, developed with the help of pedagogues, also addresses modern childhood dynamics by encouraging children to play outdoors with peers rather than spending excessive time in front of screens.

According to a Social Return on Investment (SROI) analysis conducted by Enerjisa Enerji, every 1 TL invested in the project generates 3.17 TL in social value. Ebru Taşcıoğlu, Head of Sustainability and Corporate Competencies at Enerjisa Enerji, stated that the initiative aims to help children gain awareness regarding energy and the environment at an early age to shape a better future.
