Enersa solar park meets full power demand at TC final

The Enersa photovoltaic solar park at the Autódromo Ciudad de Paraná successfully met the entire electrical demand during the Turismo Carretera final. Throughout the weekend, the solar park provided 58.8% of the total energy consumed at the circuit.

On Saturday, solar generation accounted for 50% of the required energy, with instantaneous coverage peaks of 88.7% during the second training session and 65% during qualifying. On Sunday, renewable energy represented 69.8% of the total demand. The highest performance occurred around 2:00 PM during the race final, when generation reached 116.9% of the instantaneous demand, allowing surplus energy to be injected back into the distribution grid.

This initiative is part of Enersa’s Distributed Energy Resources (DER) program, which aims to incorporate generation at strategic sites to improve grid operation and utilize existing infrastructure more efficiently. The event demonstrates the capacity of distributed generation to handle high-demand periods by producing energy at the point of consumption.
