CAE, Volatus Aerospace, and EnerSys report quarterly financial results

Several aerospace and industrial companies have released their recent financial results.

CAE Inc. reported revenue of $1,173.4 million for its fiscal first quarter, a 6.8% increase year-over-year. While civil revenues rose 5.6%, profitability was impacted by higher costs and Middle East conflict-related factors. Defense revenues grew by 8.3%. The company remains on track for its transformation targets, aiming for annual savings of $125 million to $150 million by fiscal 2030.

Volatus Aerospace reported Q2 2026 revenue of $8,418,830, a 49.5% increase quarter-over-quarter. Equipment sales rose 38% and services grew 59% compared to the previous quarter. The company opened a new 53,000 square foot manufacturing facility at Montreal-Mirabel International Airport in June to support its defense and commercial programs.

EnerSys reported strong fiscal first quarter 2027 results, with net sales increasing 4.8% to $935.6 million. The company saw a significant surge in operating cash flow to $230.2 million, driven by improved working capital and a U.S. federal tax refund. This resulted in a free cash flow conversion of 187%.
