EnerSys appoints Navi Grewal as Chief Digital, AI and Information Officer

EnerSys has appointed Navi Grewal to the newly created role of Chief Digital, AI and Information Officer, effective October 16, 2026. Reporting directly to CEO Shawn O’Connell, Grewal joins the leadership team to oversee a consolidated portfolio including global digital strategy, artificial intelligence development, information technology, cybersecurity, and corporate data utilization.

The appointment aims to integrate digital initiatives more deeply into operational planning and daily business processes rather than treating them as isolated IT projects. By centralizing these responsibilities, the company seeks to enhance productivity and streamline operations through improved data flows and AI-driven decision-making in manufacturing and supply chain processes.

This strategic move follows a strong first quarter for fiscal year 2027, during which EnerSys reported revenue of $935.64 million, a 4.80 percent increase year-over-year, and an adjusted earnings per share of $3.66, exceeding consensus estimates of $2.83.
