Enes Alić scores late free-kick for St Johnstone draw

Enes Alić scored his first goal for St Johnstone with a spectacular 25-yard free-kick in the 96th minute to secure a 1-1 draw against Falkirk in the Scottish Premiership. The late equalizer rescued a point for the Perth-based side, who had been playing with ten men since Cheick Diabate was sent off in the 54th minute.

St Johnstone manager Simo Valakari praised the unselfishness of teammates Ruari Paton and Danny Schmidt, who both deferred the set-piece to Alić. Valakari noted that the team's determination and the support of the home fans helped them overcome the disadvantage of the red card and the deficit following an Ethan Ross goal for Falkirk.
