Enes Ünal returns to Getafe from Bournemouth
Getafe CF has officially signed Turkish striker Enes Ünal, bringing him back to the club from English side Bournemouth. The deal, which runs until June 2029, follows an agreement between the two clubs.
Ünal previously played three and a half seasons for Getafe, scoring 36 goals in 109 official matches. He currently ranks sixth on the club’s all-time LaLiga scoring list. His return to the Coliseum aims to bolster the offensive lineup, particularly following a serious knee injury to midfielder Christantus Uche.
The striker's previous tenure at Getafe was marked by significant contributions before a major ACL injury in May 2023 led to his move to the Premier League. He is expected to rejoin manager José Bordalás to provide tactical depth through his ability to hold up play and participate in offensive transitions.
