Enforcement Directorate arrests Delhi ticketing agent in Dunkey Route case
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has arrested Tarun Khosla, a Delhi-based ticketing agent, in connection with the “Dunkey Route Case.” Khosla is accused of money laundering linked to Indian nationals who were illegally deported from the United States after traveling through dangerous routes in South and Central America.
Investigations indicate that Khosla acted as a key facilitator within a network involving agents from Punjab and Haryana. These agents collected passports and money from individuals seeking to reach the US, which Khosla then used to arrange visas and air tickets to transit countries, including Guyana, Suriname, Ecuador, and El Salvador. He reportedly served as a primary decision-maker regarding pricing and travel routes.
The probe follows the deportation of over 300 Indian nationals from the US border in February 2025. Authorities allege that victims were induced by middlemen with false promises of legal passage, paying between Rs 30 lakh and Rs 60 lakh to be sent through illegal channels.
