Enfrentados: Marfil to premiere on Prime Video on September 9

The film ‘Enfrentados: Marfil’ is scheduled to premiere on Prime Video on September 9. Based on the successful dilogy by Argentine-Spanish author Mercedes Ron, the movie marks the third stage of collaboration between Ron and Amazon Prime Video following the adaptations of the ‘Culpables’ and ‘Dímelo bajito’ trilogies.

Directed by Óscar Pedraza and written by Sofía Cuenca, the production is produced by Pokeepsie Films (Banijay Iberia) with Álex de la Iglesia and Carolina Bang serving as producers. The cast includes Ester Expósito and Hugo Diego García.

The plot follows Marfil Cortés, the daughter of a powerful Spanish businessman, whose life in New York is upended after a sudden kidnapping. To ensure her safety, her father hires an enigmatic bodyguard, Sebastián Moore. As they navigate family secrets and increasing threats, an attraction develops between the two characters.
