Engie sells Puerto Andino to Puerto Ventanas subsidiary

Engie Energía Chile S.A. has completed the sale of Puerto Andino to Logística Portuaria Andes SpA (LPA), a subsidiary of Puerto Ventanas S.A. (PVSA). The port facility, located in Mejillones in the Antofagasta Region, specializes in the loading, unloading, and transfer of general bulk cargo.

The transaction includes the transfer of maritime and terrestrial assets, as well as a partial transfer of the maritime concession. As part of the agreement, LPA made an initial payment of US$38.03 million on July 20.

The finalization of the sale remains subject to a suspensive condition: the approval of the transfer by the Chilean Ministry of National Defense, in accordance with the procedures established by Decree No. 9 of 2018. PVSA stated that the acquisition aligns with its growth strategy, though the specific financial impact on consolidated statements cannot yet be quantified.
