Engie to join Euro Stoxx 50 as SES exits Stoxx Europe 600

Engie is set to join the Euro Stoxx 50 index at the market opening on September 21. This move follows a strong performance for the energy company, which has seen its share price rise 8.9% since the beginning of the year.

At the same time, satellite operator SES will be removed from the Stoxx Europe 600 index. SES has experienced a 16.4% decline in its share price this year, driven by first-half results that fell below analyst expectations and a decrease in revenue across all business segments.
