Engin Günaydın moves to Foça for a quieter life and creative work

Turkish actor and screenwriter Engin Günaydın has shared details regarding his decision to move from the hectic pace of Istanbul to the coastal town of Foça in Izmir.

Günaydın explained that he prefers the tranquility of Foça over more crowded and complex holiday destinations like Bodrum or Çeşme. He noted that the calm environment of the town allows him to think more deeply and connect with his inner self.

Beyond lifestyle changes, the actor revealed that the town has become a central hub for his creative work, stating that he has written all of his scripts while living there. He also described enjoying a simple daily routine, such as visiting local markets early in the morning.
