Engineering sector in North Macedonia sees significant revenue and profit growth

The engineering and technical consulting sector in North Macedonia experienced significant financial growth in 2025. According to an analysis by the Pari portal, 663 companies within this sector generated a total revenue of 187.6 million euros, marking a 12.57% increase compared to the previous year.

Profitability saw an even sharper rise, with total profits reaching 34.1 million euros, a 50.47% increase over 2024. The profit-to-revenue ratio improved from approximately 13.6% in 2024 to 18.2% in 2025.

The industry is highly concentrated, with the top ten companies accounting for 42% of the total sector revenue. Specifically, the two largest firms, Energo Sistem Mihajlo i Zoran DOO Skopje and Građevinski Institut Makedonija, together generated 30.5 million euros, representing over 16% of the entire sector's revenue.
