Engineering students participate in academic and civic workshops

Educational institutions in Mexico and San Luis Potosí are hosting events focused on the professional and ethical development of industrial engineering students.

At the Instituto Tecnológico de Culiacán, Navolato Extension, students participated in conferences led by the Navolato Municipal Government’s Preventive Programs and Road Unit. The sessions covered civic rights, obligations, and community coexistence, alongside a workshop titled ‘The future is built today,’ which focused on responsible decision-making and risk prevention.

Meanwhile, the Tecnológico de Matehuala held the 2026 International Academic Congress of Industrial Engineering. The event featured an alumni forum and a lecture on technology and innovation for responsible development, emphasizing sustainable practices and the social and environmental impact of future professionals.
