Engineers launch Cudi ZİHA agricultural drone in Şırnak

Aerospace engineer brothers Devran Çelik and Baran Çelik have introduced and tested the Cudi ZİHA, an agricultural unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), in Şırnak, Turkey. The demonstration and test flight took place at the Şırnak City Stadium and was attended by local officials, including Deputy Governor Fikri Bağdıoğlu.

Designed for the agricultural sector, the Cudi ZİHA is intended for tasks such as spraying and fertilizing. The drone features fully autonomous flight capabilities and utilizes artificial intelligence-supported software to detect and avoid obstacles. Technical specifications indicate the drone can fly for 20 minutes with a 20-liter load or 8 minutes with a 50-liter load.

After completing their aerospace engineering studies in Istanbul, the brothers established their own aviation company to pursue projects like the Gabar project. The Cudi drone serves as their company's first product, developed as a stepping stone toward larger hardware projects.
