England Coach Tuchel Flags Bukayo Saka Injury Ahead of World Cup

England manager Thomas Tuchel said that winger Bukayo Saka is still recovering from an Achilles‑related muscle problem that kept him from full training after a long club season with Arsenal. Tuchel noted that Saka is "not at 100 percent" and will be carefully managed in the final warm‑up matches, including the friendly against Costa Rica on June 14, before the team's opening World Cup game against Croatia.

Tuchel emphasized that player health remains a priority and that the squad will rotate to keep Saka and other key players fit, while also giving other members of the squad minutes in behind‑closed‑doors fixtures.
