England football team arrives in Croatia ahead of match against Croatia

The England national football team has arrived in Croatia ahead of their upcoming match against Croatia at Rujevica Stadium. Players, including Jude Bellingham, have been seen relaxing on the beaches of Opatija during their stay.

England manager Thomas Tuchel has indicated tactical flexibility, noting that while he is not looking for a replacement for Harry Kane, he has experimented with Bellingham in a more advanced role. This follows England's recent 2-3 loss to Spain at Wembley, a match where they managed to pressure the Spanish side more effectively than Croatia did in their recent encounter.

Croatia manager Slaven Bilić expressed dissatisfaction following his team's performance against Spain, stating they were “bad in every sense” and allowed Spain too much space. Bilić noted that unlike England, who applied pressure to Spain, Croatia failed to remain aggressive and compact, a tactical deficiency he aims to rectify in the upcoming fixture.
