England and Sri Lanka announce squads for white-ball series

England and Sri Lanka have announced their squads for an upcoming six-match white-ball series in England, consisting of three T20Is and three One Day Internationals (ODIs).

England has named Harry Brook as captain for both formats. The squad features maiden call-ups for Derbyshire opener Aneurin Donald in the T20I side and Sussex seamer Henry Crocombe in the ODI squad. Jamie Overton returns to both squads following a thigh injury, while Phil Salt and Jacob Bethell are unavailable due to injury.

Sri Lanka will be led by Charith Asalanka for the T20I series, as regular captain Kusal Mendis is sidelined with a hamstring injury. Dilshan Madushanka joins the squad following Binura Fernando's absence due to a back injury.

The T20I series is scheduled to begin on September 15 in Southampton, followed by matches in Cardiff and Manchester. The ODI series will commence on September 22 in Chester-le-Street, with subsequent matches in Leeds and at The Oval.
