England pub walks see surge in popularity
Interest in scenic pub walks in England has seen a 129% increase in searches over the past month. Recommended routes for the autumn season include several notable trails across the country.
The Seaford to Eastbourne walk in East Sussex is a top-rated 21.7km route that traverses the Seven Sisters and Beachy Head. Rated as a hard walk taking approximately six to six-and-a-half hours, it offers views of iconic white cliffs. Visitors are advised to stay at least five metres from the cliff edges due to annual coastal erosion. The trail concludes near Eastbourne, where various pubs are located near the promenade.
In the Peak District, the Grindsbrook Clough and Grindslow Knoll Circular offers a shorter 6.9km route that takes roughly 70 minutes to complete.
