England Women's U19 cricket squad named for India series and World Cup

England Women have announced a 15-player Under-19 squad for an extensive winter programme. The group is scheduled to compete in a five-match T20 series against India from November 26 to December 6, 2026, with matches held in Baroda and Surat.

Following the series in India, the squad will remain for an additional week of outdoor training to prepare for the ICC Women’s Under-19 T20 World Cup, which will take place in Nepal and Bangladesh in January and February 2027.

Phoebe Brett of Warwickshire is the only player returning from the 2025 squad. Head coach Chris Guest stated that the goal is to ensure this is the “best prepared squad we will have sent to the U19 Women’s World Cup,” focusing on both tournament success and professional development. A captain for the squad has yet to be named.
