England's Bukayo Saka to debut new logo and half-time rotation plan at World Cup

Former England striker Michael Owen suggested that manager Gareth Southgate rotate right‑wing players Bukayo Saka and Noni Madueke each half of every World Cup match to manage Saka’s fitness after his recent Achilles issue. Owen also advocated similar half‑time switches across the front line, including Jude Bellingham and Morgan Rogers, to keep players fresh.

Separately, Saka’s personal logo – a stylised “BS” lightning‑bolt design – appeared on his kit during a World Cup game, part of his Stone Island × New Balance collaboration. The logo will be featured on the new Stone Island x New Balance Furon Elite FG v9 boot, marking the footballer’s first official branding reveal on the tournament field.
