West Ham United hosts Queens Park Rangers in Championship clash

West Ham United is set to host Queens Park Rangers at the London Stadium for an EFL Championship fixture following the international break. West Ham, currently sitting two points behind leaders Swansea City, aims to maintain their momentum after a recent run of four consecutive wins. Manager Nuno Espírito Santo has emphasized the need for a more aggressive, ‘warrior’ attitude to avoid the shortcomings seen in their previous match against Millwall.

Regarding squad availability, West Ham will be without Mohamadou Kante due to suspension and Keiber Lamadrid, who is still recovering. However, Tomas Soucek has returned to action following injury. On the opposition side, QPR manager Julien Stéphan expressed confidence in his squad's development despite facing potential absences. Notably, former West Ham midfielder Alou Diarra, currently an assistant coach for QPR, will return to the London Stadium.

QPR enters the match in 6th place, having lost only once in their first eight matches, though they have drawn their last three league encounters.
