Eni reports strong stock growth and continues share buyback program

Eni has demonstrated strong financial performance and shareholder returns through 2026. As part of its 2026 buyback program, Eni purchased 3,236,870 treasury shares between August 24 and August 28, 2026, on Euronext Milan. These transactions, totaling approximately 75 million EUR at a weighted average price of 23.17 EUR per share, represent 0.11 percent of the company's share capital. Since the program's inception on May 8, 2026, Eni has repurchased over 63 million shares, holding roughly 4.95 percent of its total share capital.

In terms of earnings, Eni contributed 1.5 billion USD to the global integrated oil and gas sector's second-quarter profit pool of 93 billion USD.
