ENIL's Q1 revenue falls to Rs 113 crore as digital platform Gaana surges 43%
Entertainment Network (India) Limited (ENIL), the owner of Radio Mirchi and the Gaana streaming service, reported consolidated revenue of Rs 113 crore for the quarter ended 30 June 2026, a decline of about 3 % year‑on‑year and down from Rs 142 crore in the previous quarter. Net loss widened to roughly Rs 6 crore, although loss before tax narrowed and EBITDA rose 42 % to Rs 8.7 crore, helped by cost‑rationalisation measures. The digital business posted strong growth, with revenue increasing about 43 % year‑on‑year to roughly Rs 21‑31 crore, accounting for around 30 % of total revenue, while investment in the segment fell. Radio advertising remained under pressure as advertisers curtailed spending amid a subdued macro environment. ENIL also announced the transfer of four FM radio stations in Kanpur, Lucknow, Nagpur and an additional location to its wholly‑owned subsidiary, Alternate Brand, and ended the quarter with a cash balance of Rs 389.7 crore.
