Enjoy AI 2026 launches to promote Robotics and AI education

The Enjoy AI 2026 international robot programming competition has officially launched, aiming to provide students from preschool to high school with opportunities to engage in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence (AI). Supported by the National Innovation Center (NIC) and co-organized with the Institute for School Design Research under the Ministry of Education and Training, the program includes the Enjoy AI Asian Open 2026 in Hanoi and the Enjoy AI 3D Virtual Robot Competition held online.

As AI becomes a foundational skill for the 21st century, educational trends are shifting toward developing technological thinking through practical experience. These competitions serve as an ecosystem for innovation, helping students practice logic, creativity, and problem-solving.

In the broader context of AI integration in education, lessons are being drawn from international experiences, such as South Korea's $850 million investment in AI-integrated textbooks. In South Korea, a large-scale implementation saw varied results, with national adoption for 3rd-grade math at 28.6% and significant regional disparities between cities like Daegu and Sejong. These findings highlight the importance of synchronized infrastructure and controlled implementation when introducing advanced technology into school environments.
