Enmanuel Reyes Pla reaches European boxing final

Spanish boxer Enmanuel Reyes Pla has advanced to the final of the European Boxing Championships in Sofia, Bulgaria, competing in the 90kg category. Reyes Pla secured his place in the final after a closely contested semifinal match against Georgia's Georgii Kushitashvili, winning by a split decision of 3-2.

The bout was highly competitive; while Reyes Pla controlled the first round, Kushitashvili gained momentum in the second, leading to a difficult scenario for the Spaniard. Reyes Pla regained control in the final round through improved distance management and precision. This victory ensures at least a silver medal, matching his previous continental achievement from 2022.

Reyes Pla will face Turkey's Emrah Yasar in the final on Friday. Yasar advanced to the championship match after defeating Germany's Kevin Lebowski with a 5-0 decision.
