Enna Calcio suspends all activities due to internal crisis

The coach and players of Enna Calcio have announced an immediate suspension of all sporting activities. In a joint statement, coach Alfredo Cimino and the squad cited a lack of “minimum conditions” required to continue their work with dignity and serenity.

The decision follows 40 days of attempting to maintain training and match schedules despite ongoing difficulties. While the group declined to comment on specific disputes between the club's former and new management or local institutions, they emphasized that their primary role is to train and play.

The suspension places the club's sporting future at risk. The responsibility now falls to the club's president, Travagin, to address the emergency, either by implementing concrete technical interventions or considering a sale of the club. The players concluded their statement with a plea for a solution, stating, “Enna cannot die.”
