Enna Calcio transfers team to Niscemi amid dispute with Mayor

A public dispute has erupted between Enna Calcio president Giancarlo Travagin and Enna Mayor Mirello Crisafulli regarding unfulfilled agreements and logistical difficulties. Travagin issued a statement citing the lack of an adequate stadium and training field, an eviction from the Casa Enna headquarters, and debt seizures not related to his current management.

Due to these issues, the club has decided to transfer its team and entire staff to Niscemi. Travagin described the move as a professional decision based on an assessment of local infrastructure, services, and institutional availability rather than an impulsive reaction.

Mayor Crisafulli has responded by instructing lawyers to file a lawsuit for defamation and damage to his image. The Mayor contested the criticisms regarding the city's infrastructure, suggesting that the complaints regarding roads and sports facilities pertain to the previous administration, noting he only took office on May 27.
