Enna football club faces strike threat over unpaid wages
Players and coaching staff at Enna have issued an ultimatum to the club management, threatening to stop training and boycott their upcoming Serie D match against Reggina on November 8.
Coach Alfredo Cimino stated that the situation has reached a point of human intolerance. The protest is driven by significant economic and organizational issues, including two months of unpaid wages and difficulties regarding logistics, equipment, and training facilities.
The crisis coincides with ongoing negotiations for a change in club ownership, as current president Giancarlo Travagin reportedly nears a deal to sell the club to Filippo Garofalo. The team has expressed that they cannot continue without concrete guarantees and a definitive resolution to the corporate instability.
