Enna honors gynecologist Maurizio Bellavia with memorial plaque

The Asp di Enna has unveiled a memorial plaque in the gynecology department's waiting room to honor Dr. Maurizio Bellavia, a gynecologist who served the institution for approximately half a century.

Dr. Bellavia, who began his service in the 1970s, was recognized by colleagues and family for his professional ethics and dedication to patients. He assisted hundreds of women through pregnancy and childbirth throughout his career. The unveiling ceremony was attended by his family, including his wife Alda and children Ugo and Giulia, as well as medical colleagues. Health Director Paolo La Paglia described the tribute as a fitting recognition for a professional who dedicated his life to the agency and his patients.
