Enna Municipality partners with Consorzio di Bonifica for green space maintenance

The Municipality of Enna has signed a collaboration agreement with the Consorzio di Bonifica to manage the maintenance of public green areas. The agreement, approved by the municipal government, aims to address municipal staff shortages and ensure consistent upkeep across the city, including the historic center and expanding neighborhoods.

Under the terms of the deal, which covers the current and upcoming year, the municipality will cover travel reimbursements for personnel and the cost of consumables, such as tools and equipment. This arrangement allows the city to utilize expert workers without incurring additional labor costs. The plan also includes a financial reconciliation process to offset any existing debts or credits between the two entities to simplify public spending.
